Our Design Process

We provide specialized expertise in the design of cold-formed steel (light gauge) structures.

OUR design process of Cold-Formed Steel Shop Drawings

A.J. Wells Steel framing construction is a design-led process, meaning that the need for skill to construct the building is more in the design process stage rather than on-site.

Systems such as the FRAMECAD System utilize world-leading sophisticated design and engineering software that is incredibly accurate, reducing the need for engineer involvement during the detail design, speeding up compliance, reducing engineering cost, and minimizing room for error on-site.

How We Do It

ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN

The process begins with the architect's design.

Specification

The entire project is then designed and detailed using our Frame Cad system.

PRODUCTION

We create each component of the building individually, labeling them according to their location in the frame for error-free assembly

Assembly

The 100% engineered material is immediately positioned for rapid and accurate erection.

Delivery

Delivered to the job site in sections, or delivered in whole.

Erection

Our project management team will arrange the logistics from supply only to erection of CFS structures.
